Tapestries to weaving

 『TAPESTRY TO WEAVING』
Actually apprentice at Royal Gobelins Manufactury, I was lucky to get “declassified” wool used for three tapestries: one haute lisse (Paris) from artist P.A. Gette and two basse lisse (Beauvais) from artists V. Vasarely and C. Hilaire. I wanted to connect and create boundaries between my approach of weaving to my practice at the manufactury by collecting patterns in each of the tapestries, their colours and create new textiles from it.
